Saturday 12th December @ Cyclic Art, New Cross Road... Another Lovely night at the Lost club... 3 rooms, DJs, chillout, live room.. Twisted Charm, (these guys keep popping up), The Dirty Pins (Criminal Crew!) and Us! Couldn't of been a better way to unwind after the hectic weekend past... All we need to do then is chip together and get a PA!

Of course the big one too... Saturday 4th December, day one of 'Welcome to Alternativille' festival, @ Ochre... Criminal Records launch party for compilation release 'The Criminal Sessions' and various pre-release CDs. Even we had to say the weekender rocked.. our label, has the best bands.. don't you know it. Thank you to all of you who came down to represent, and you know its a success when its packed wall to wall! Also, to those who bought our EP (you know they were limited edition), thank you for supporting the cause... The compilation rocks, well worth checking out. Thursday 25th Nov, 'Release' @ The Alex, Clapham .. goes down every Thursday, a mad one.. not usually the acoustic type but the night was great. The Kut (minus drummer) played acoustic back to back with 3 other Criminal Records artists, Giantkind, Daniel Renouf and Les Figurines. A really clear headed set, will definately have to try that one again soon..

Saturday 13th Nov Back again at the Spread Eagle ... another night of mayhem.. The set rocked with two new tracks 'I had this feeling' and 'Poisonest' from our new EP. Ray brought it all together with a wicked acoustic set.

Sunday 26th September. @ 'The Spread Eagle' Kingsland Road , 2nd time to gig there... nice one to the crew for coming down.. support was extra funky from Morviscous, another good night, pretty cool and no door charge too!

Sunday 12th September. Pepys Park Festival. Back again.. and rocked it once again. Pepys Park. Free Festival, New Cross. Near Evelyn Street. Good gig, shame about the dynamo running the stage, but hey suppose its good for the environment... lots of good bands on too especially us, Amil & Russel's new band and Miguan's crew. Nice one to those who came down, good to be back in the realms x

Friday 10th September. 'Lost Club' @ The Montague Arms, New Cross/Peckham. Nice one those who came... bit of a crazy night.. The bass player from the next band up, Wet Dog, got knocked out by electric shock :( We thanked our lucky stars it wasn't Elvira tho.. but the girl was in a state although she acted like a bitch after coz she was still in shock. After the ambulance came, The Dirty Pins [also signed to Criminal] saved the day, un-phased and kept the night going in rock style!

Thursday 9th September. @ The Spread Eagle. [used to be a strip bar so we heard] Kingsland Rd, Old Street. Also playing, Spider Redundant [also signed to Criminal]. Gig was very cool.. infact so many crew appeared just walking past they asked both bands back.. Spider Redundant were rocking too, but we already knew that!

Thursday 5th September. The Telegraph. Brixton. Crayon also played. Massive venue also.

Saturday 31st July. @ Sandford. Coldblow Lane, New Cross. Wicked gig as normal!! 500 strong crew.. Rock it Sandford, we love you! Headjam were cool too. Nuria smashed it with the drums despite being hit by a car just a week before - now thats what we call a rock drummer.

Thursday 10th June. 'Jail-Bait' @ Bar Ginglik. 1 Shepherds Bush Green. [Shepherds Bush Central Line]. Also played: Figurine, Xerox Teens, Manumit. Was cool, wicked stage projections too.

Wed 12th May 2004: Parole - Upstairs @ The Bear. Clerkenwell. Farringdon. Another hot minute from Criminal Records. Bands included obviously The Kut, Figurine, Crayon, Misses Nice & Daze. Very cool gig especially respect to Figurine & Crayon. Should gig with these peeps again, was cool. Good crowd too, lots of jumping and moshing… just what we love x x

Thursday 29th April 2004: Bugbar, Brixton.. This gig was cool. Basement vibes with support from Manumit & DogBonfire. The sound was cool and we hit our set and left sharp. Nice one to those who came down to support.

Tuesday 20th April @ The Roadhouse. Manchester 2004. Gig was cool. Back in the van again, this time was our mates van though and despite flat tyres, when that was fixed it was all cool again. Got to the venue early. This was a bit of a stressful gig but when The Kut started, this was fine and all rechilled. Manchester's cool. Shame there was no time to shop!

Thursday 25th March 2004. The Caenarvon Castle. 7 Chalk Farm Rd. Camden ** Venue was cool. Another night promoted by Criminal Records. Bands included LoveKraft, An Horizon and Sma5h TV. Was cool gig alround except by 11.20 when the Kut went on the band was smashed and the gig was kut short.. Good night tho.
The Vision Detour diary Friday 13th - March 4th 2004

Fri 13th Feb 2004- Gossips off Dean St, Soho. London. Single 'The Vision' Release party. Very cool. The day we got the gig just a month before we just thought 'Friday 13th', lets research a record! Support was from rocking band Xerox Teens. Should definitely play more gigs with these guys! Wicked night and lots of faces. Was good support to lead us to our tour.

Sun 15th Feb 2004- The Tache, Cookson St, Blackpool. Arriving to Blackpool was 2 hours late and just as van driver Christina pulled out into the town center, (misdirected by James!) she took the van straight under a height restriction. THE VAN WAS RIPPED TO SHIT. This was a shock but after managing to reverse away and escape the scene (being just infront of the central police station), the band got to The Tache. Was cool to see old crews (you know who you are) x x

Mon 16th Feb 2004 - Fibbers, Stonebow House, The Stonebow, York. Arriving to York was cool. The van kuts were covered (although it was raining) and we arrive. Unfortunately we look around and realise its an over 15s night and we suddenly clicked why no-one was drinking or smoking. There were sum veterans around though, and despite the rest of the bands being new metal it was alright. The singer from the headline band was a wanker though, but oh well!

Tue 17th Feb 2004 - LateRoom @ Life, 23 Peter St, Manchester. Turning up early for once , the girlies were shocked to find out they had to pay a hire fee of £200 for the venue that was never mentioned!! Fuck that… Back on the road the girls were determined to get another gig. Meeting up with old mates and trecking Manchester, the girls finally found a venue - The Thirsty Scholar, in a better location and everything. They had 7 other bands on and The Kut got headline slot. Other bands included the Urban Folk Collective and Adam Kelly. Was a wicked night. Probably the best night of the tour and truly rock n roll.

Wed 18th Feb 2004 - Josephs Well, Leeds. This venue was cool, but by now sleeping it shady and the hole in the van was making for moody gigs. This gig was moody alright. Nice venue. Good sound and there we have it on the way back to London.

Mon 23rd Feb 2004 - New Cross Inn, New Cross Rd, London. Ah, New Cross, New Cross. Was great to be back in the realms of SE London all the girls agreed… No Elvis this time either and a good sound. By this time the hired van was back and all payment damages almost sorted : ( . But we did it and that's the main things.

Thur 4th Mar 2004 - Dublin Castle, Camden, London. This being the last gig was rocking. Playing with two rocking bands too, The Kut played alongside Brigade & Warehouse Duty. Very cool bands and lots of fun. We hope to gig with these guys again in the future. Great tour. Will definitely be doing it again.
Monday 19th January 2004. Gig at the New Cross Inn rocked!! Was very cool to see lots of the home crews around and shaking their thing.... Shame about Elvis just throwing himself onto stage to give the girlies chocolate buttons!... Security! Running completely overtime, The Kut got onstage about 11.15pm.. the only bad thought was that the floor was about to give way.... loved it so much! x x

Tuesday 6th January 2004 @ The Verge Kentish Town Rd Kentish Town... line up consisted of 4 magical bands but only 3 turned up! *** .. promoted by www.clubfabulous.co.uk. The Kut played a rather pissed up ill set of mayhem and dismay.. (well it was just after crimbo)..

Thursday 27th Nov 2003. The Hope & Anchor. This totally rocked... In the end Vynyl pulled out but was replaced by cool drum n bass band Milk Plus... Stateschool were also hot with their fat disco sounds & as ever The Kut rocked the house... New tracks included 'Get your hands off my wallet' and 'Work's Shit'... Thanx to all the crew that came down and packed out the little venue to its capacity... you know we love you...

Fri 7th Nov 2003: The Betsey Trotwood. Said to be the smallest venue in London wasn't actually that small.. infact it made for a rocking gig.. support was from Feeling good conspiracy + Abigail Hopkins .. The pretty drunk Kut played a totally hot experimental set including improv track "I have drank too much alcohol".. there was a definate vibe.. Thanks to all those who made it down.. The Kut finally accepted alcohol defeat at 11pm when the girls led by Elvira realised they were far too pissed.. the legacy continues....

Wednesday October 8th 2003: On the Rocks (Shoreditch 25 Kingsland Rd)... cool band venue.. nice one to all those who came down... you guys confirmed us a headline gig on 27th Nov at the Hope & Anchor, so cheers for the support... Shuffle & Kunai were very cool too hopefully all bands can play together in the future...

20th September 2003: Paradise Bar, New Cross. Was the launch party of a new band showcase night..... Good to see the website is getting people down to gigs.. nicely done!! Cheers to Charlene and Sam for the photos too..

30th August 2003 - Excellent gig at Sandford Party all day event, loads of bands. The Kut played under alternative name ' Subsister ' on stage as last band at about 12.30am. Nice to see so many of you all dancing and getting down. Cheers for offers of the videos too for those who snapped the gig on their cams.... hopefully we'll get some clips on the site soon. Dance football later on in the night was really cool too.... maybe some clips could go into the new video??

12th August 2003. Cherry Jam. Nice one to all those who came down. The Kut demonstrated their experimental side yet again... nice to see you folks going nuts! Cheers to Herb for organising the event

26th March 2003 a gig at the launch party of "What Guitar?" magazine [by the creators of Metal Hammer & Total Guitar] confirmed the bands alternative edge...... The Kut gate crashed the stage as headline act and suprised the crowds with an experimental acoustic set that would have made Hendrix proud.

September 2002: Homerton. Suddenly after hanging in the shadows, The Kut found themselves supporting punk-stars P.A.I.N and Citizen Fish in an event organised by 'Disobedience'. They voiced their concerns about the financial but also 'vendetta' motives behind Bush and Blairs "war on terror". Outspoken, The Kut also first gigged with topical songs focusing on pressing issues like date rape [track - sleeping pill].

August 2002: Pepys in The Park Festival. Depford: In the acoustic tent the girls rocked the tent with an electrified set with help from Amil Smith 'Smithy' on drums. Very cool, lots of support and encourgement thanks to those who were there. Nice skirt from jayray too.
